Character design is still pretty neat though, and I like how it looks in your style.

Really like that dragon's eye. The pairing of giant and small creatures and characters in so many of your drawings never ceases to leave an impression.

The background's making me think of Moria, and I'm wondering if this interpretation of Gohma would be willing to take on a Balrog.

Based the architecture off of Moria! I found a model in google sketchup as a jumping-off point, so I could get the correct angle. :)

Big fan of this whole project and in this piece in particuar I especially love the river that he's running in.

I've always had a soft spot for mages with hat brims wide enough to obscure their whole face and you really nailed that look.
