could you overtake me please, just for a moment

So between uses of PayPal (a period of a few months) I changed numbers and now it wants me to verify my login with the old number. The only way to resolve this without doing shifty third-party shit is to call customer service and they won't answer my calls. Today I got sufficiently impatient to try adding my old number as a contact to try and message it on WhatsApp and see if the new owner of that number could help but the number, on WhatsApp at least, still has the icon I attached to it, meaning either that no-one has occupied my old number yet or that someone has but they don't have WhatsApp meaning if I want to contact them I have to pay money for it and I ain't wanna do that. Guess it's back to my futile phone call attempts, or DM'ing them on Twitter I guess.

I'd say fairly confidently this is my favourite thing I've done in a while, maybe since the Sprite Draw stuff which is technically a July project ie rapidly approaching 4 months old at this point. Hadn't done anything I'd describe as just chill vibes in a long time, I'd say since January:

Was uploading the background somewhere else (with the rather poorly aged character drawing removed lmao) and felt compelled to do something similarly cool-looking (as in temperature-wise) so here we are. Felt quite happy with that whole situation honestly, it's nice to have art from long ago that's good enough to inspire more from you, imo.

it's progressing, if slowly. i think i've figured out what i want to do with it so it should be smoother sailing beyond this point.

Thought you might like to see the progress so far. Don't know how big it'll be or how long it'll be 'til it's finished so may as well post updates.

Might make opening an online print shop a bit pointless so I'm gonna try and get it worked around as quickly as possible.

Making it presentable is the next step so I'll get to work on that tomorrow.

Hit a bit of a roadblock near the end of the day but the wizard design itself is now finished. Gonna add a lil background otherwise I'll feel weird about posting it to the art portal.
